The 1-Axis Headstock-Type Robotic Welding Positioner is engineered to optimize automated and manual welding processes by providing precise workpiece manipulation. The workpiece is securely fixed on the worktable or chuck located at the front end of the spindle. Driven by a robust single horizontal spindle, the system enables the workpiece to rotate 360° continuously. This uninterrupted rotation ensures that the welding torch always maintains the optimal welding or assembly angle, significantly improving weld penetration, consistency, and overall production efficiency.
Designed for versatile manufacturing environments, the electrical control system fully supports Manual, Automatic, and Linkage modes to adapt to different production requirements:
1. Automated Linkage: When integrated with an industrial robot arm, the positioner acts as a coordinated external axis. The robot controller dictates the positioner's movement, automatically adjusting the welding angle in real-time to facilitate complex automated welding trajectories without manual intervention.
2. PLC Control: For semi-automated or manual setups, the built-in PLC system manages the positioner's rotation, allowing operators to execute precise manual welding with enhanced ergonomic access and reduced fatigue.
Manufactured in our own factory using high-quality structural steel, every positioner undergoes 13 rigorous processing steps to guarantee exceptional durability and dimensional stability. All products are subjected to strict quality inspections and hold relevant industry certifications, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Guansen Automation’s dedicated engineering team provides professional customization services. We tailor the positioner’s load capacity and physical dimensions specifically to your workpiece requirements, ensuring ideal welding speeds and superior weld aesthetics. The system can be flexibly configured with various optional components, including dedicated welding machines, laser welding setups, and specific welding torches.
Key structural benefits include a highly rigid framework that minimizes vibration, a compact design that reduces the required factory footprint, and a low-maintenance architecture designed for long-term reliability. This positioner serves as a highly cost-effective automated welding solution, delivering professional-grade results suitable for high-volume batch production.

1. What data is needed for a customized welding solution or positioner?
Please provide the workpiece weight, physical dimensions, welding material, required weld thickness, and the desired welding effect. This allows our engineers to configure the optimal load capacity and rotation specifications.
2. Can it be integrated with a welding robot?
Yes. The system supports Modbus, Profinet, EtherCAT, and other standard communication protocols, allowing it to function seamlessly as a robot's seventh axis or external axis for fully automated linkage.
3. What are the installation, commissioning, and training services?
All equipment undergoes rigorous quality inspection and is only shipped after in-house commissioning is fully complete. We provide free personnel training at our facility. Alternatively, you can choose to have our engineers provide on-site installation, commissioning, and training until the equipment is operating normally in your plant.
4. What is the warranty policy?
We provide a comprehensive one-year warranty. Replacement of wear parts is provided free of charge during the warranty period (shipping costs remain the buyer's responsibility).
5. What is the delivery time for the complete set of equipment?
• Standard models: 7-15 days.
• Customized models: 15-30 days (timeline is subject to final configuration confirmation).
