Working Principle:
By flipping the structure, the workpiece fixed securely on the worktable is brought to the required welding and assembly angle, ensuring optimal accessibility for complex joints and reducing manual handling.
The directional movement of the tailstock adapts effectively to workpieces of various sizes and lengths, significantly improving the overall utilization rate and flexibility of the welding positioner across different production batches.
Electrical Control System (Supports Manual / Automatic / Linkage Modes):
An industrial robot can control the positioner to automatically adjust the welding angle, facilitating highly productive automated welding processes and minimizing human error.
A PLC system is available to control both the positioner operations and manual welding tasks, offering versatile operation options for different assembly lines.
Optional Equipment Configuration:
To meet specific project requirements, we offer a wide range of optional equipment. This includes adjustable positioner tailstock modes (available in manual or electric adjustment), industrial welding robot arms, dedicated welding machines, laser welding machines, and specialized welding torches. Additional customizations cover positioner specifications, exterior color, and structural modifications such as adding a seventh-axis track for the welding robot to expand its working area.
Core Advantages:
Manufactured in our own factory using premium materials, this equipment undergoes 13 professionally customized processing steps to ensure exceptional structural integrity and long-term reliability. All products pass strict quality inspections and hold corresponding certifications. Guansen Automation provides professional customization for positioner load capacity, dimensions, tailstock movement methods, and travel distances based on your specific product needs. This allows the adjustable positioner to adapt to a diverse range of workpieces, achieving the ideal welding speed and consistent weld effects.
This 1-axis adjustable welding positioner is designed for typical purchasing needs across multiple heavy-duty and precision manufacturing sectors:
Pressure Vessel & Pipeline Industry: Suitable for welding steel pipes, gas and water tanks, complex pipelines, and industrial towers, ensuring consistent weld penetration under demanding conditions.
Construction Machinery Industry: Ideal for fabricating excavator booms and arms, as well as loader and bulldozer parts that require strong load-bearing welds.
Automotive Industry: Widely used for heavy and light truck chassis longitudinal beams, subframes, automotive chassis, frames, columns, automotive battery box frames, and towing seats.
Steel Structures: Supports the efficient assembly and welding of H-beams, bridge steel components, heavy-duty guide rails, and flanges.

1. What data is needed for a customized welding solution or positioner?
To design the most suitable equipment, we need the workpiece weight, exact dimensions, welding material type, required weld thickness, and the desired final welding effect.
2. Can it be integrated with a welding robot?
Yes. The system supports Modbus, Profinet, EtherCAT, and other mainstream communication protocols. It can be fully integrated and used as a robot's seventh axis or external axis.
3. What are the installation, commissioning, and training services?
All equipment undergoes rigorous quality inspection and is only shipped after in-house commissioning is complete. We provide free personnel training. Alternatively, you can choose to have our engineers provide on-site installation, commissioning, and hands-on training until the equipment is operating normally in your facility.
4. What is the warranty?
We provide a standard one-year warranty. Wear parts are supplied for free during the warranty period (shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility).
5. What is the delivery time for the complete set of equipment?
For the standard model, delivery takes 7-15 days. For a customized model, delivery is typically 15-30 days (subject to final configuration confirmation).
