Working Principle:
The 1-axis headstock-tailstock robotic welding positioner is engineered to optimize the fabrication process. By securely fixing the workpiece to the worktable and rotating it to the precise angle required, it ensures optimal weld pool dynamics. This controlled rotation reduces defects and improves overall assembly precision for complex, large, or heavy components, making the welding process highly efficient.
Electrical Control System (Supports Manual, Automatic, and Linkage Modes):
1. In automated setups, an industrial robot controls the positioner to dynamically adjust the welding angle, ensuring continuous and accurate automated welding without manual intervention.
2. For semi-automated or manual tasks, a reliable PLC system manages the positioner's movements, providing operators with straightforward and precise control over the rotation speed and positioning.
Optional Components:
To meet diverse production line requirements, this positioning system can be integrated with industrial welding robot arms, dedicated welding machines, laser welding machines, and various welding torches. We also offer customization for positioner specifications, exterior color, or the addition of a seventh-axis welding robot track to extend the working envelope for oversized projects.
Manufacturing Advantages:
Guansen Automation provides professional, tailor-made solutions based on your specific product dimensions and load requirements, ensuring the ideal welding speed and superior joint quality. Constructed from premium-grade steel and processed through 13 rigorous manufacturing steps in our own facility, the positioner guarantees exceptional durability and long-term stability. All units undergo strict quality inspections and hold relevant industry certifications. Implementing this automated welding solution significantly reduces labor costs, delivers professional-grade welding results, and facilitates highly efficient batch production for manufacturing facilities.

To ensure quick deployment and smooth operation, we provide comprehensive and professional instruction manuals with every unit. Our dedicated engineering team offers one-on-one technical guidance to help your staff fully master the equipment. We support flexible online communication and remote training sessions, as well as on-site commissioning and hands-on training tailored to your facility's requirements. Additionally, free training and operational guidance are always available at the Guansen Automation factory to lower your implementation risks.
1. What data is needed for a customized welding solution or positioner?
To design the most effective and accurate solution, we require the workpiece weight, physical dimensions, specific welding material, weld thickness, and the desired final welding effect or industry standard.
2. Can it be integrated with an existing welding robot?
Yes. The positioner supports major industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, Profinet, and EtherCAT. It is designed to function smoothly as a robot's seventh axis or external axis for fully synchronized movement.
3. What do your installation, commissioning, and training services include?
All equipment undergoes rigorous quality inspection and is shipped only after internal commissioning is fully complete. We provide free personnel training at our facility. Alternatively, you can opt for our engineers to perform on-site installation, commissioning, and training at your location until the equipment is operating normally and your team is confident.
4. What is the warranty policy?
We provide a comprehensive one-year warranty. During this warranty period, replacement wear parts are provided free of charge (shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer).
5. What is the delivery time for the complete set of equipment?
For standard models, the delivery time is typically 7 to 15 days. For customized models, delivery takes 15 to 30 days, subject to the final confirmation of configuration and technical requirements.
